IndacoBiazzo is a researcher at the SmartData@Polito center of the Polytechnic University of Turin. He conducts research on the interplay between big data analysis, applied statistical physics methods and data visualization. His main subjects of study are urban mobility, optimization problems and inference in epidemic processes. He studied theoretical physics at University La Sapienza of Rome and got a Ph.D. in statistical physics at the Polytechnic University of Turin. Dr. Biazzo was the ideator and co-creator of the CityChrone project (citychrone.org), a scientific web platform where users can compare public transport performances in urban areas and test new public transport scenarios.
